Arthritis

Inflammation of one or more joints

The two most common types of arthritis are Osteoarthritis (OA) and Rheumatoid arthritis (RA). There are other forms of arthritis such as Spondylitis Arthritis, Gout Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Infectious Arthritis.

1: Osteoarthritis

degeneration of the joints, generally affecting: the hips, knees, ankles and small joints of the fingers.

What are the symptoms of Osteoarthritis?

  • Pain
  • Stiffness especially in the morning or after exercise
  • Swelling, inflamed
  • Increased size in joint
  • Reduced range of movement

2: Rheumatoid Arthritis

Is an autoimmune disorder causing the body to

create antibodies which attack the joints. The body begins fighting

against itself and attacking the synovium (cell lining inside the joints

creating inflammation. An onset of RA is associated with physical and

emotional stress, poor diet, bacterial infection. While OA can affect

single joints, RA affects all the body's synovial joints.

What are the symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis?

  • Pain which can be crippling
  • Stiffness
  • Deformity
  • Swelling
  • Fatigue
  • Weight loss
  • Anemia
  • Inflammation in the tendons
  • Possible fever and illness

How can kinesiology help?

With regular balancing, pain and swelling can be reduced and immune functions can be improved. With the right protocol of nutritional help such as food sensitivity testing and eliminating foods such as sugar, gluten, beef, potatoes and dairy - the biggest culprits in increasing histamine - inflammation can be reduced.

We find the best ways to reducing the effects of Arthritis are:

  • Healthy digestive track
  • Reducing nightshade family foods
  • Balancing ph levels and reducing acid build ups
  • Increasing cell salt magnesium and calcium
  • Removing lymphatic congestion

Emotional Factors

There has been plenty of research that shows how emotions affect health and can be a factor with arthritis. Where the body has increased inflammation, we look at anger and resentment as triggers. Lowering the intensity of these emotions will reduce inflammation and aid the body.
